MySQL in a multi client environment

Post by theRCRH »

I'm running a mix of clients in the house (MRMC, Kodi & SPMC) all sharing a single MySQL database.
Will kodi about to move to a new version should I be worried about my database? I'd hate to fire up Kyrpton and have it rebuild my shared database to the point that MRMC & SPMC can use it.

I know you can't answer for SPMC but what is the plan for MRMC & kyrpton related to a shared database.

Thanks in advance.

We are watching kodi and waiting for release. Maintaining db compatibility is high on our list. Their release schedule is end of Dec, more of less :)

Thanks DaVilla,
Can you confirm if there are changes in the db?

Amet follows this closer than me. I'm sure he will comment when he surfaces.
