Disable swipe up/down functionalities

How can I disable swipe up and down on my touch screen? When I watching live TV and trying to adjust brightness by bringing iOS build-in menu up, in most cases the application trying to switch channels.

there is no way to disable swipe functions at the moment.

Great, thanks! And I understand that it is not a bug, but on Apple devices it interfering with build-in gesture ...
