look like depends was not setup correctly. make sure you follow the readme, we are slightly different than kodi.

whats useless?

cd tools/depends
./bootstrap
./configure --host=arm-apple-darwin --with-cpu=arm64
make clean
make

I do it once a day and all is good...

make clean is normal procedure if something fails, you need to clean it :)

you can also try to clean just the depend that failed.... in your case "libdvdcss"

make -C target/libdvdcss/ clean

and/or

make -C target/libdvdcss/ distclean

then run make and it will skip the ones that are finished and continue with the ones that are not

checking for Java compiler... javac -target 1.1 -source 1.3

is this reason
