>Why not install MrMC on the AppleTV then use the normal kodi iOS remote to control it ?
Why not have both options available.?
ie. I already have MrMC on my AppleTV 4, tho I prefer to use my Logitech remote control, as I find it far more usable for Mediacenter type usage.
Really my inquiry is more for cool factor. One must find reasons to purchase new Apple toys you know.
Can you think of a better reason to buy an idevice, than to install MrMC Touch on it?

.
And with MrMC Touch installed on an idevice, would one not want to try out AirPlay Mirroring with our favourite Mediacenter software. (Am speaking of your software here)
I am surprised that no one else has asked this question, nor tried AirPlay Mirroring with MrMC Touch.
Enquiring minds wonder, does it work, or does it completely suck?
I did manage to sideload Kodi 17 nighty build onto my iPad3. Movie playback worked really well, but not so good for PVR. (Wifi not MIMO I guess on my iPad 3, so not quite up to the task)
I then enabled AirPlay Mirroring, and it worked pretty well considering, but with one major issue on my iPad, and that was the aspect, and that everything including MrMC was in 4x3.
I found out that with AirPlay Mirroring active, Kodi see's the AppleTV4 as a second display, so you can have Kodi display on AppleTV, and the iPad display becomes a control interface.
It works pretty good, excellent image quality, but on my ipad3, stutter slowly creeps in.
Also, seemingly using AppleTV4 as second display limits the resolution to 720p, tho one does get a full 16.9 display.
So, I wonder if later generation I devices like the iPad 2 Air, iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, with their much faster processing, and faster WiFi can achieve perfect AirPlay Mirroring in 16x9, as my ipad3 is generations behind the current product lineup.
Just wondering, that's all.
