No issues with Kodi either but can't launch MrMc or even SPMC. I'm getting a message error:

"Cannot download obb" means a google play issue, delete and reinstall.

If I do a factory reset would that disengage the 7.2 update?

Re: Nvidia Shield 7.2 update and MrMc
Interesting. I have no problem launching MrMc. However, without making any specific playback tweaks to my Audio and supported audio devices:
- When I installed MrMC on my Shield with 7.0...the audio was very low. I would have to turn up the TV volume quite a bit to in order to hear the audio. I knew I still had to tweak the audio, but I didn't have any time.
- When I updated the Shield to 7.1, all of a sudden I would get a message everytime I used MrMC saying that 'Surround Sound' was enabled and the audio was awesome. I didn't even have to turn up the volume hardly LOL.
- After updating to 7.2, I now get a constant audio stutter/skipping.
Will be checking Tautulli to see what's happening from the Plex server end. I have a fast-ass remote plex server on SSD and Plex running as a Docker container, so we'll see.

Re: Nvidia Shield 7.2 update and MrMc
I'm having same problem. I have Shield and the current 7.2.1 update.
I changed my network locations and connected to a new SMB source and added music and video. Then MrMC started acting wonky, not showing the correct menus. So I did a force stop of the app, rebooted a few times etc. This did not work so I uninstalled app and went to reinstall from Play Store. I do not know if my changing the network sources messed up MrMC, it was probably this Shield 7.2.1 bug.
When I did the Play install I got the error, MrMC can't be loaded. (Error code 911) However, the app said it was installed so I hit the Open button. It asked for permission to access photos etc. Then it said Error, cannot load obb. I tried this several times.
When I went to the Play store in my browser, MrMc shows as installed. I was hoping to do a remote install there.
Perhaps loaded as an APK would work?
The Shield forums say that new new bug fix 7.2.2 is coming soon to address the issues that the last update caused. Let's hope that is in the next couple of days.
