By default, when going to Videos > Files > Add Videos > Browse...
I'm seeing 2 instances of SMB there. One called smb:// and one called Windows Network (SMB). Both appear to do the same thing.
When I turn on libdsm and go back to the same place, Windows Network is gone, only smb:// remains but it acts differently. All I get is a window called "Lock preferences for smb://" and I can only manually enter a username, password and "remember this path".
I've also had input lock up on that screen twice so far. No click works. Most of the time it works though, bringing up the keyboard.
So which is the way to connect to smbX? I wondered if I had to use zeroconf.
Running version 1.2
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back

use zeroconf for libdsm. netbios browse vis libdsm is not present but will come back in a future version.
