For MrMC Touch: There's no display or button for going back, but I figured it's in the top left corner (and it was) but some sort of display (like an arrow in the top corner) to show the back button would probably be helpful. It also has the issue that occassionally instead of going back to the main screen it takes you to the videos section where it shows title, year, etc etc.
The biggest issue though is that when I click on a movie I have the 'Default select action' set to 'Show Information' (since sometimes touch screens think you're clicking instead of panning) so it shows the information for the movie. There's no back button anywhere that I could find, so I'm stuck in that screen and need to close the app completely.
2 finger swipe to the left has always been "back", since 2010(?) when we made ios version of xbmc

On Shield TV how are we supposed to close down MrMC with the new opacity skin? I'm accustomed to using the power button that is in the MrMC skin.
you are not meant to close it, just use that all the time... "O" button does it for me on Shield, no resources are being used since we are in the background

It seems there is some new info, namely whether or not the video is progressive or interlaced, and if interlaced which field is first.
I'm also seeing that live tv no longer has the option to display signal info.

not sure what you mean here... where is this detection taking place? changing skin would have not affected the detection of interlaced content...

ok, but its still might take few seconds to refresh... speed of the refresh depends on the server/wifi and other factors... look in debug log for "MrMC[21755:669289] Debug Print: CHomeShelfJob::UpdateVideos() - Running HomeShelf screen update" that indicates that we are refreshing home screen items

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that the detection of interlaced content has changed. What has changed, at least to my eye, is the display of codec info. So, what I mean to say is that perhaps MrMC has incorrectly detected 720p DVR recordings as interlaced BFF for a long time and I'm just now able to see it with the added information in codec info.

of course I can just click the home button, "o" on the shield remote. if it's really closed then I'm happy. I was afraid I wasn't closing it properly.
