I need your help, please!
I watch my TV program using the DVB-C repeater from Fritz.
Everything works really wonderful but the switching times are the horror. These are always 5 seconds until the next station is finally displayed. About the Fritz!TV app is not so. Because it is obvious that MrMC is the problem. Can you adjust it somehow?

1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Switching Times
5 seconds is reasonable for jumping into an unknown encoded video stream. MrMC will not sync until a keyframe is found. Otherwise hardware decoders can fail and/or you see macro-blocking.
A debuglog would show this.

Re: Switching Times
Yes, neither me. I'm an ancient, from the days of analog tv where switch times were instant. Ever since the switch to digital and h264, switch times are horrible, compared to the good old analog days
It all has to do with keyframes and being able to setup the hardware decoders right. Do it wrong and they will barf.

Re: Switching Times
Exactly, the good old times
How would it be if you would work with AVM together on a solution ?
Problems are there to be solved
