I also run kodi on 3 rpi's.
all devices are attached to a mysql database for library.
mrmc is all set up on that library, and it all 'looks' normal. I've added the credentials to my media server via 'add source'.
However, weirdly, whilst I have no problems playing any movies, all videos under 'TV Shows' refuse to playback, instead returning the following error:
"One of more items failed to play. Check the Log for more information about this message"
funnily enough, when I play the file from it's directory location, it plays fine....
log output (the example file I use is smb://10.1.1.3/TV Shows D-J/Fresh Off the Boat/Season 03/Fresh Off the Boat - 3x08 - Where are the Giggles - 720p HDTV Proper.mkv. included in the log is an example of a movie working file (Storks).
files are both .mkvs, encoded as x264. apologies if I've not added my logfile correctly (never had to do it before)
