Is it possible to add skins on FireTV

Is it possible on the FireTV to manually add a Skin or will MrMC only use the bundeledone?

By manually I mean simply copying the skin into the AddOns Folder.

in theory its possible, but many skins need python helper addons and wont run(or have most of the functions) without it.

Thanks for the reply, I try to adjust fTV to be without all that helper stuff, if I find the time of course...so at least thats the plan. Once the skin generates everything within Kodi, it should be possible to use that generated Menues and throw out the generating stuff...lets see...I think the fTV Mod by fred is a must on the FireTV when using MrMC :) So will try my best...maybe someone wants to help on that? :)
