With iOS Channel numbers don't sync to mythtv backend
When using mythtv as the pvr backend channel numbers do not sync. This only happens for me on iOS. The tvos versions seems to be correct. There's usually an option in Kodi to sync the channel numbers so that they match the over the air numbers.

Re: With iOS Channel numbers don't sync to mythtv backend
This is with iOS version 1.6. The only option in the TV settings related to channels, other than the channel manager is "Synchronise channel groups with backends(s)". In tvOS 1.6 there's an additional option to "use channel numbers from backend". This is the typical setting found in Kodi.
I'd rather not switch to the 2.0 version yet due the version of the MySQL database changing.

Re: With iOS Channel numbers don't sync to mythtv backend
there seems to be an issue with enabling "expert" settings in live tv under iOS, i'll look into it.
as a "solution", go into Video subsection of settings and tap on the gear in top right corner, that will allow you to change to expert settings and "Use Channel order from backend(s)" will be available in live tv settings.

Ah ha! That worked. Thank you! Now only if watched/unwatched state of recorded tv was correctly shown I would have my issues list completed! I'm hoping 2.0 fixes that.
Thanks again.
