Re: "TV" and "movies" suddenly missing!
Providing additional feedback that with 5 Apple TVs running MrMC, that the issue described above in which the content type for media folders is reset on the daily now. Said in another way, all of the metadata from album art needs to be reset every day on every Apple TV. I've tried using different skins, and the same result. I verified with another MrMC user that is experiencing the same issue. Support would be much appreciated.

Try deactivating the IPV6 setting on your ATV - see my remark in the other thread just a minute ago. I was having the same experience and IPV4 only solved it. No more resets for weeks or even months now.
Hope this solves it for you!

Re: "TV" and "movies" suddenly missing!
Are you referring to disabling IPV6 within the MrMC settings? If so, I tried it on 5 different Apple TVs, and the issue was not resolved. Metadata was removed after one day. Or are you referring to disabling IPV6 somewhere else within Apple TV settings. If so, can you provide steps/directions how to resolve? I've since began using Infuse, which seems to satisfy all of my needs.

I never experienced the loss of data since disabling IPV6 in MrMC app on the ATV and the ATV settings.
Do you use a SQL database?

I have disabled IPV6 within the MrMC system settings. However, I cannot currently locate within Apple TV settings where to disable IPV6 after researching online. Appreciate any support with how to disable IPV6 within Apple TV settings for anyone that is aware.

Re: "TV" and "movies" suddenly missing!
Upon launching MrMC, I noticed that my "TV" and "movies" menus had disappeared, while all other menus remained intact. I attempted to resolve this by switching to a different skin that allowed menu customization. However, unchecking and rechecking these options didn't resolve the issue. Notably, the media files are still present, and I can access them via the "videos" menu. I'm seeking assistance with this problem, and I've attached the log file "OMQPL.log" for reference. How can I rectify this situation?
