Adding to the chorus of SMB mount issues being reported, I have servers set up where no password is needed to mount SMB shares using a variety of media clients running Kodi on Android, Linux and Windows. But I can't seem to do it from MrMC on TVOS using either SMB Browser or Zeroconf in the GUI
Is there a way to do it by editing sources.xml? Is using a password mandatory?
Thanks
TVOS 15.0 and MrMC 3.9-12

Re: SMB mount issues with Linux server
Have you tried utilizing SMB with a password?
I have stumbled across situations (aside from MrMC) where not using a password led to a dead end.

I will create a user for MrMC with a password and report results here
