Hi,
i'm fairly new to the MRMC App and AppleTV.
I'm running tvOS 14.6 and the latest (3.9.11 i think) Version of MRMC on AppleTV4K 2021 Version.
On every other Audio/Music App it seems i can go back to the Homescreen and Music is still played and i can control it in the Control Center (Double-Click TV-Button).
I already tried what is suggested here:

But it didn't work for me. The Audio still Stops after a few seconds and when i go back to the App it continues playing.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again
Any mention of illegal streaming sites, addons or any pirated material will not be tolerated. This is not democracy and any offenders will be banned and posts deleted immediately without warning.

You put didn’t miss anything, we have not enabled background playback for the various technical reasons… network needs to be reworked to allow for it, loading/unloading of the smb/nfs libraries… etc
