Updated to the new 3.99 and the HDR switch is working. BUT!!!
The 4k25p HDR homevideo stutter as hell, I have closed all other apps and rebooted.
This is insane never seen anything like this before!
It worked with no stuttering before the update!
Anyone having this issue with UHD HDR 3840*2160@25p ?

Yep, same issue here. None of my 4K HDR files are playable.
Update: It's not just HDR, any 4K file starts stuttering after a few seconds (HDR and SDR).

Looks like debuglog doesn’t have debug enabled.
Post a new one and let’s see what @davilla says, he is the playback master. Nothing has changed in the code , is this the new issue or has it happened before?

That's weird. Debug is definitely on.

Everything worked fine earlier in the day. I tried to play a movie this evening and noticed the stuttering. I thought it was a problem with the aTV so I restarted it but the problem persisted. I then checked the App Store and noticed that the app was updated. I then checked the forums to see if anyone saw the issue and noticed this thread.

Ok, let’s see what @davilla says....
Nothing has changed in regards to video playback from version 3.9.7 to 3.9.9, one thing I would not disregard is that the issue might be with emby server.... we have seen it before. Try the restart of emby server and see if that helps.

The issue was with my ethernet switch. I did a speed test and it was showing really slow speeds which caused the 4K videos to buffer. 4K stuff on Netflix worked without issue but I guess it was lower bitrate. I should have checked the speed first. Sorry about that!

And the other one still on 3.9.7
