mrmc 3.9.7 on tvOS latest
going to pictures folder with some jpegs and .mov videos,
choosing Slideshow in the left menu
slideshow hangs after playing the very first video
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again
Any mention of illegal streaming sites, addons or any pirated material will not be tolerated. This is not democracy and any offenders will be banned and posts deleted immediately without warning.

Relatively fast if we have the debuglog info, without it it’s hunting in the dark

does it always hang on the same file? I cant reproduce here, it works as expected.
can you make a small reproducible folder that shows this issue? If we can reproduce here we can fix it.
I can see that it played more than one file, IMG_0593.mov -> IMG_0594.mov -> .... did only first one show on the screen?

The last frame of the first video file is showing, the app does not react to any gestures or menu button

Is the folder added as picture or video source? Or are you just browsing to it? Can you share any of the files you see issue with?

The folder is added as pictures from qnap nas via samba
I do slideshow from menu on the left

See last appearance of Img_0190.mov in debug log
