Allright Let’s do this
- I am on tvOS mrmc 4.0.0 (200603.1235)
- See Log RG1JA.log
Notes
- Startupscreen says mrmc lite (lite in red)
- on screen message: webserver failed to start
- In settings there is an new App Store section.
Let’s get to work here: I assume I have to choose restore subscription. Lets do that. Message : in app purchase not allowed. So I’ll probably have to change an Apple TV setting. I did that. Now to return to mrmc and choose restore subscription, enter username and password........and succes!! At the info line it says: lifetime upgrade from past purchase - Active.
Let’s quit and restart mrmc to see if sticks. Yes it does, it stays active.
So that seems succesfull. Now I’ll wait for the iOS app.

Yes, seems all is ok.. it shows lite since that’s what it is on start... might remove that as there is no point in it.
Thanks for letting us know, hopefully iOS is also good

Force Quit the app removes the Lite limitations if you purchased earlier (lifetime subscription: Active)amet wrote: 04 Jun 2020, 11:50Hi,Waltman wrote: 04 Jun 2020, 11:42 Allright Let’s do this

Re: Limited TestFlight 4.0.0 - Apple TV/iOS
Any chance you have the debuglog before you force quit ? It should work immediately after it picks up the previous purchase
If it’s only the “lite” logo, that will be removed in future

FYI. Indeed The mrmc lite logo appeared only once. After force quit and restart the normal mrmc logo is displayed.

Was the functionality “lite” before the force quit? Or was it just the logo?Waltman wrote: 04 Jun 2020, 17:54 FYI. Indeed The mrmc lite logo appeared only once. After force quit and restart the normal mrmc logo is displayed.

Re: Limited TestFlight 4.0.0 - Apple TV/iOS
Update : I tried it on my second ATV4K. It starts out in MRMC Llite mode. Only 8 or so tvhows where displayed with 138 episodes ? and a message appeared to ask you to purchase the full product.
This device also activated to full license without issues.

Re: Limited TestFlight 4.0.0 - Apple TV/iOS
Just installed 4.0 on my ATV 4k. Started with the lite logo and lite functionality. Went to "App Store" menu item. Checked the license and it said full. However, only 8 items were listed. Rebooted the ATV et voilà - full version logo, full functionality. Waiting for clearance for the iOS version now.
