Hi,
Long time XBMC/Kodi user (from the original Xbox days) but new to this AppleTV TVOs version.
The GUI and wiki look sparse and I'm wondering if there is a user manual online somewhere. Or a guide for people familiar with Kodi.
Thanks
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: New AppleTV user
As an example, how can I get my movie collection to show up filtered/sorted by Genre?

Re: New AppleTV user
Head to settings>video>library and untick "Flatten Hierarch". Now when you open Movies it will bring up the genre menus etc. What you can do in addition is add the genre for instance as a favourite (long press on remote). If you enable favorites on your home window in the skin settings you then have a way to re-enable flatten hierarchy and still be able to easily browse genres etc by jumping into your favorites

Unflattening the hierarchy did not seem to do anything. Do I have to rescan the library?
