details please, is your plex access
a) local (in the same place as your shield) or
b) remote (some unknown location in the internet) ?
Are you wired or wireless ?
If wireless, 802.11ac or some slower speed ?
If wired, 10Mb, 100Mb or 1000Mb ?
Router is good ? Cables are good ? 95 percent of 'speed' issues we see are local network related.
Is this limited to Plex client or Emby client ? You are running both.
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Slow loading time
Hi,
I have a shared library, so remote.
My network is wireless 5Ghz 100Mb speed.
Very slow content loading through Emby and Plex server. No any big differences.
No any issues I have with network speed. Kodi, Plex and Emby are working fine and are loading the library much faster than mrmc.
I am now also back using the latest beta of mrmc but still same issues.
I am using a Mibox 3.
I have a lot of issues with mrmc and I am at a stage to remove mrmc due the issues I have.
1. Slow loading of content.
2. No sound unless deactive passthrough and than activate it back, the sound suddenly works.
3. Subs are not always loading.

Re: Slow loading time
Did you ever get this resolved? I have the same symptoms but with emby rather then plex.

Hi,
Still not solved,
I have the same on Plex and Emby.
No responses from mrmc members on this issue and gave up on mrmc and using Kodi back again as smoothly as usual with embuary skin.

I can’t comment on issues regarding the Android app but regarding speed, it seems rational:basellesab wrote: 27 Jul 2019, 22:40 Hi,

I have a local NAS where the media files are stored and two Plex servers, Windows and Synology.
My internal, WiFi connection speed is around 600Mbps on (5GHz, ac).
MrMC needs around 10sec. Until I get the the thumbnails on the home screen of Ariana; not the fastest but that’s it.
If you recalculate for your Remote Server, 100Mbps and around 1GB of Plex data, you shall see that you are within the reasonable range.
In short, I guess your network is relatively slow and a remote server is unpredictable when it comes to speed and reliability (QoS).

Re: Slow loading time
Regarding Emby, you might know that there exist two ways to connect Kodi to Emby server, EmbyCon and Emby for Kodi add-ones. EmbyCon leaves the data on the server, Emby to Kodi populates Kodi DB with Emby DB, i.e. functions as if you are using the local DB of Kodi itself.basellesab wrote: 12 Sep 2019, 06:17 Hi,

MrMC Emby Agent, works like EmbyCon, i.e. it’s access time depends heavily on the network speed since it fetches the data on Emby server (the same as Plex Agent).

Thank you for the reply.
Can I use mrmc on a Raspberry Pi 4 so I can give it a try on this?

Re: Slow loading time
Not sure what you are referring to, no support on rPi? We don’t support Linux platform if that’s what you are asking.
