I tried several forms of DTS IEC packed and all work here just fine.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.9.0 for Google Play
Curious here as to why IEC packed is possibly superior to it being off? Koying said “IEC or not only defines who "wraps" the compressed audio for transportation on the HDMI cable. IEC checked means MrMC does it, unchecked means android does it.” in this post viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4482&p=22068&hilit ... ked#p22068
My Shield>denon x4500>c8 both work fine on the current ge260f62 build
On my shield to Lg sound bar to Sony tv. IEC off is fine, IEC on causes significant lip sync issues.

There's no better and worse. Both produces exactly the same sound.
At the end of the day, choice is king. Just pick what's working best for your config

Ah good to know. Glad we have a choice in that case.
Thanks Koying.

I use Optical cable not HDMI. With kodi (raw version) there's no problem with DTS. Extrange thing cause it was working perfect with MrMC.cosmoxl wrote: 13 Jul 2019, 12:49 I tried several forms of DTS IEC packed and all work here just fine.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.9.0 for Google Play
Hi,
fresh install done today on nvidia shield 2017.
I still have some micro stuttering with advanced timing on and 4K HDR content (but less than the 3.8.1).
Anyway, with with advanced timing off the playback is perfect.
One issue found until now, the library is not refreshed when starting the application (the option is set to on in the settings).
I use a MariaDB database + NFS shares.
I can provide a log if needed.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.9.0 for Google Play
My bad, the log shows that the library is updated but the progress indicator is not displayed in the GUI.
I use Opacity with Dark theme.
The progess indicator should be in the bottom-right of the screen.
No problem, if i update the library manually. The progess indicator is visible.
I did some test by removing a movie and add it again.
I had a crash after updating the library and cleaning db process.
I will send you the logs by email to the support mailbox.
