lol wow. I never saw the mediainfo as I don't have access to private tracker sites. but that's literally what is happening to my mkv's I make right now, so they clearly did my above method. literally the only thing left in making a full dv mkv remux is properly extracting the single layer h265 video track from the mp4 without losing dolby vision.davilla wrote: 30 Jun 2019, 19:17 So I got curious, fetched Escape.Room.2019.2160p.DolbyVision.WEB-DL.DTS-HD.MA.5.1.H.265-BLUTONiUM

Re: Dolby Vision
haha ya I had no idea, was literally going by the filename only. that's pretty sad ppl try and pass this off as Dolby Vision. Also kinda cool it's not cuz as soon as we get this last step we'll be the first with dv mkv remuxes

Re: Dolby Vision
When i rip to DV 1.0 the subtitles is output into a separate file moviename.sub.
When i play the movie in mrmc you can see all the subtitles but they will not show up on movie. Can this bee fixed.

Re: Dolby Vision
subs work for smb/nfs.
plex server does not support VOBSUB.

idx/vob are VOBSUBSupported Subtitle Formats:
SRT
SMI
SSA (or ASS)
WebVTT
Other formats such as VOBSUB, PGS, etc. may work on some Plex apps but not all. For almost all apps, both VOBSUB and PGS subtitles will require the video be transcoded to “burned in” the subtitles for streaming.
