Hello guys,
I‘ve been using MrMc for about a year and it works as it should be.
Now two months ago there is a crackling sound out of the speakers (i think all five speakers make that noise) and i don‘t know why. The noise appears at irregular times and last a few seconds.
MrMc is installed at Apple TV 4K which is connected to a Denon AVR-2400H. Files that played with MrMc are located on a Synolgy DS 215j. When i watch TV on a Sky reciever or play a game on PlayStation it is all fine .
I also changed the HDMI cable, but it doesn‘t fix the problem.
Maybe some of you had an similar issue?
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Crackling Sound out of the Speaker
There's another setting that might help with the crackling noise.
To keep an a/v receiver 'alive' with respect to audio, MrMC outputs audio 'silence'. It's not pure zeros but a very low level of random PCM. There's a setting that controls the level.
settings, system, audio, 'level of inaudible silence',
default
2 times less
10 times less
100 times less.
Default value is, of course 'default'

Re: Crackling Sound out of the Speaker
I checked it yesterday evening but it didn‘t work... i changed all possible settings.
It is a little bit strange, because other Apps, like Infuse, doesn‘t have this kind of Problem.

Nothing jumps out, maybe make a recording uses a phone and post that. Hearing what you are hearing might trigger something in the wayback machine.
