please avoid posting "I would love to test" posts, lets keep this for testing only.

changes since last version:
+ dynamic TopShelf, displays recently added movies and tvshows
+ fix play/pause with libdsm
+ fix play/pause, jump to tvOS home and back to auto resume playing
+ fix un-shuffle crash
+ bump ffmpeg version
+ fix podnapisi.net subtitle search
+ vertical blank sync, force always and hide for iOS/tvOS
+ add setting to ignore file creation date, last added first in lib ... AKA DateAdded
+ add buffer and network settings
+ add samba timeout settings
+ update MrMC skin colour theme

Still no images in the topshelf (it's actually worse in this version and shows zero images) ;)

images will only show in topshelf if you have items in library, explain your setup please and lets see the log

Top shelf images are showing on my setup with this update (didn't in the previous one).

Movies images are all correct, but the TV shows images are not all correct, some of them are images of other TV shows. See image below:

Ok, I'll dig out the log. My library is chockers, hundreds of movies and TV Shows, all with delicious metadata. Just watching the tennis but I'll dig out the logs tomorrow.


EDIT: Never mind, just had another look and everything is showing now. Must have taken a little while to populate for whatever reason :)

in my testing it takes around 15-20 seconds for the refresh to kick in, its not something we can fix, its how apple does things ...

New movies aren't showing up anywhere except in the Video Files Video list view, and that's only the file name. I've tried update library. The new movies and all their meta data are being found by Plex.

I'm not sure why but I'm pretty sure it was a reboot of the ATV that caused the images to populate. They weren't showing at least for a day or so after updating to the new version. No matter, sometimes things just need a reboot :)
