Plex: recently added TV seasons don't show up on home screen

I'm not sure whether it’s a bug or intended behavior, but lately (at least for 2 or 3 months) newly added full TV seasons as well as multiple episodes of a TV show haven't been showing up in the Recently Added section on the home screen. IIRC before when multiple TV episodes from the same show were added they showed up as several individual episodes rather than follow standard Plex behavior of coalescing them into a single entry. Now they just don't appear on the home screen at all.

This is known behavior. I pointed it out probably a year ago and was told there's no fix. 1 episode added every day will show up in recently added but several added at once don't.

Not for 3.8.1, but I think I have a plan for 3.8.1 + 1
