Video settings for current Apple 4K TV

Post by Dave_O »

I have a current Apple 4K TV, connected to a Samsung 4kTV. I have set the Apple TV to 4k HDR resolution, and have set it to match Source DR and Frame Rate. Apple TV settings shows all formats supported. What are the best MRMC video settings for this setup to automatically switch to 4K/HDR as needed? Should Video Toolbox acceleration be checked or not? Same question for AVF. Any other settings that I need to check?

Thanks

the default settings are the best :) AVF for 4k/HDR, VTB for the rest.
