3.7.1 gone from bad to worse

Let’s assume h264 works, how does that help with h265? By now, most of my videos are encoded with h265. And MrMC 3.6.0 worked like a charm. Something obviously was broken with the introduction of 3.7.0/1.

I also have a FireTV2, but I do not have such issues, at least not the scale you mention.

On "some" videos, after an hour or so of watching, the audio gets out of sync by aprox. 5s, which I managed to always fix with stopping the movie and starting again. Not sure if related, but turning on "Support 8 channel Audio DST decoding" makes audio out of sync almost instantly.

Too bad. H264 didn’t work either. However, the old SPMC I have still installed had no trouble at all playing either video.

Can also confirm this is an issue for myself; I've tried every combination of settings but the issue persists. I can't seem to narrow it down to a particular audio format inside the mkv, audio just goes out of sync within about 10 minutes.

The version before this worked flawlessly. It's a shame there's no means of downgrading the app to a prior version on the firetv.

Has there been any progress on isolating what may be causing it?

This issue now seems to happen most of the time. I tried audio pass through on/off, turned off vertical blank sync. No good. The problem starts with a video stutter, then audio goes massively out of sync by 5 or 10 seconds. Only fix I found is exiting out of movie playback, then restarting playback. I have to do this every 10 minutes or so.

I have been using MrMC since the beginning, and this is by far the worst problem yet. If the problem is related to the last version, can you re-release the previous version until it’s fixed?

Yep. Noticed an issue with low-bitrate, 2-channels, AC3.
Will be fixed in next version.
