Genres from Emby Server

Hi everyone, maybe the info is there but I can't find it. How can I browse the movie library by genre?

Settings -> videos -> flatten hierarchy -> off

You will get the list of all nodes

Maybe I am missing something, but genre browsing I also NEVER discovered to be available in MrMC with the Emby Client service. On MrMC Home Screen, with Emby library selected, swiping to the left only show the nodes of "In Progress" and "Recently added"

Sets, Unwatched, Genre, Years and Actors is missing in Opacity, with the Emby Client service in MrMC.
So where is this setting hidden in MrMC to show all of the above nodes with the Emby Client service or does that need rework of MrMC ?

Hm, it’s possible that this is only available on Plex server... I’ll check tonight

Setting is in the location I mentioned above, it will (if working properly) take you to a list of nodes instead of displaying movies when you click on movie tab on home

Thanks for the follow up. Checked"flatten hierarchy" set to "off" in my settings. When clicking on a Movie (Emby library) tab in Home, MrMC goes straight into the movie list. Would appreciate if Emby Client gets all possible nodes available, so picking a movie based on genre will be available in MrMC.

Also genes are visible under each individual movie page, would be nice to click on the genre there and open up the genre list.

It seems when you have multiple Emby libraries, this doesn’t work for every Emby library.

@devs, can one of you, move this topic to the Emby Client service section ?
