Issue with HD Homerun Add On

I tried many many times to get the HD Homerun Add on to work under the available PVR's. I was unsuccessful and had to purchase Channels on the Apple TV App Store at $14.99. Is the HD Homerun PRV supported and working in MrMc and its just my inability to make it work? Please confirm. Thanks

Is anyone else using the HD Homerun PVR add on.

The HDHomeRun is supported and we do have reports of it working. I can look closer this weekend as the nice folks from SD have sent me some of the new units.

Thanks I tinkered and got it working. Opening and Closing the App enabled it. Great work Thanks

It works, except it doesn't keep the screensaver from turing on. What issues were you running into? Setting it up was pretty straight forward.

I simple could not get it running. MrMc had to be restarted and it started working, The Channels app works wonderfully and I like the UI.

I could have used MrMC for free as I already bought it. Oh well I have choices now.

I have the HD Homerun Add-on working okay for watching live tv. I cannot get the DVR functionality to work at all. It always comes back as a network error. There is nowhere in the settings to specify my NAS as a recording location. So mostly I use the Channels app since it's a few less clicks to get to the show.

exactly how are you viewing livetv ?

I have hdhomerun setup now and have been watching for about an hour. at4 screensaver is set to go off in 2 mins.

Well, I just tried reproducing and it works fine now... Soooo I'll pay attention to what I'm doing over the next few days and if I can reproduce it I'll let you know. Might have to do with some settings that I have on one Apple TV and not another.

Wanted to try this again since I had some time, so tested it out again and I pretty much always get the screensaver. I was closing MrMC completely between tests. Also was using ESPN in HD to test cuz that's what watch around now. Here's what I did:

Click TV. Use the default Channels view to find something to watch.
2 minutes later the screen saver comes on.

OR

Click TV Use the Guide (from the main TV window go to the left to change from Channels to Guide) to find a channel to watch, long press to the channel.
Watch for over 2 minutes and the screensaver comes on.

OR

Click TV. Use the Guide to find a channel to watch, long press to go to the channel.
Watch for over 2 minutes and the screensaver won't come on.
Click to get OSD, and then select the TV icon to get the quick guide and change to a different channel using that.
2 minutes later the screensaver comes on.


The sound always stays on even when the screensaver is up.
