Can you explain a bit more - I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if I don’t have the right video setup to get the best effect
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
Go to settings-video-acceleration and disable AVF and choose video toolbox for all content

Ok!pecinko wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 09:37You already helped. Thanks.inariel12 wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 09:15 Ok. I’ve just tried and it seems to work fine: swipe down for the OSD and click to select elements into the OSD.
Switching back to Ariana, I have the same issues as described before.
Let me know how I could help you.
Will be fixed for next TFlight.

Cannot tell u specific technical details, I leave that to the experts but from my aficionado point of view, quality drops, mostly in dark colors. Cannot wait for them to make it AVF compatible.
All and all I like the ambilight effect so much Ive been watching all my stuff with VTB for one month. Hehehe

davilla wrote: 21 May 2018, 13:55Still poking, my main issue is I don't have a sample and these things are huge. Too huge for my dog slow home net (would take weeks to fetch) and they exceed the data caps on my fast net. In a few weeks, my slow net gets replace with with a 100Mb/s down net and I get to join the 21st century.jrcorwin wrote: 21 May 2018, 12:57Any additional thoughts on this? All of my files with a second (Dolby Vision) stream are also m2ts. The other players play them fine. Just not native MrMc or MrMc with the Plex extension. Thanks.davilla wrote: 17 May 2018, 13:58
Relooked at log and mediainfo dump. That is one of those with a second video stream involving Dolby Vision. Do all with a second video stream have this behavior or does it include ones without the second video stream. MediaInfo will show the two video streams.
Also, looks like a m2ts based file, Are all problem files m2ts ?
Any update on this? Thank you!!jrcorwin wrote: 02 Jun 2018, 16:12 I still can’t play my m2ts files that have the Dolby Vision layer, so I’m having to use the Infuse beta for those. Any update on improving the collection support though. I really dislike having my both my 1080p and 4K versions of the same film listed and not knowing which one is which without selecting one of them.
As a backup, I have all of mine in a separate 4K collection so I can see them by selecting it.

I go to settings, video, acceleration but see no options for avf or video toolbox. Just options to allow hardware acceleration -media coded (surface ), or allow hardware acceleration -media codec. Settings are set to expert.jpalenz77 wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 15:05 Go to settings-video-acceleration and disable AVF and choose video toolbox for all content

Videotoolbox and AVFoundation are in tvOS. For Shield I think you'll need to disable the surface decoding and use only media codec (non surface) to get huelight or ambilight or whatever it's called working.marklight wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 23:42I go to settings, video, acceleration but see no options for avf or video toolbox.
