I also feel its a little redundant since if you start to watch something and stop, the next time you start to watch it again MrMC will ask you if you want to resume. So for me having Recently Added "Movies"
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
@pecinko. the "in Progress" row is sound in principle but for me at least it results with having the same few thumbnails on the home shelf permanently. If I watch something through to completion (most frequent behaviour) it won't appear "in progress" (obviously). However, if i start watching something and decide i don't want to continue watching it (possibly ever) its there permanently.

fulfils both roles...mostly

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
@pecinko, in the last 2 test flights we've lost the video scrub feature which i think i saw a comment about. In the last TF i can see a new player but i struggled to get this to work. Now some of that is no doubt my novice swiper status but it also seemed that when i did manage to navigate to the player controls if i clicked FF for instance then nothing happened. The boy has taken over the TV so i can't play any further for a while but that was my initial observation.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
Short version: I'm sorry about scrubbing issue. It should be fixed in next TF. Any changes in regard to home shelves will have to wait for 3.8logan_x50 wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 10:11 @pecinko. the "in Progress" row is sound in principle but for me at least it results with having the same few thumbnails on
Long version: Player controls you're seeing should pop-up only when scrubbing is not available, ie in live tv. As said will be fixed.
Home shelves function differently in plex, this is the reason other "gun equipped" users

tvOS 11.4
Ariana and Opacity
Emby metadata collection for TV Shows is not working correctly; say messed-up completely
Posters are missing, some series appear twice, Recently Added show only dark place holders on Home screen.
The same issues are common for both servers (Synology and Windows). Every thing on Emby WebUI is fine; so it is not the server. These issues were absent in the last TF.
Movies work fine.

@pecinko, no worries about the bugs remaining. I can see where things are going and it'll be good. Skipping is working in live tv on tvOS now.

I know, but the point I was trying to make is that you can't change those settings when deinterlacemode is set to 2 (=ON) AND interlacemethod is 7 (=Yadif 2x) when playing a recording that causes video problems with those settings.davilla wrote: 17 Jun 2018, 00:21when video is playing, OSD for video.Montoya wrote: 16 Jun 2018, 20:47 Another thing I came across:
Which settings in GUI sets this:Some IPTV recordings from DVBLink only played sound while the screen looked like it was taken over by the Hue client because of the colors showing, while Hue client is disabled.Code: Select all
<defaultvideosettings> <deinterlacemode>2</deinterlacemode> <interlacemethod>7</interlacemethod>
Tried to change via video settings during play to get things working (couldn't find it), but setting it to 1 & 1 manually in Notepad++ and the recordings played normally again:What does the 2 & 7 setting do and where to find it in GUI ?Code: Select all
<defaultvideosettings> <deinterlacemode>1</deinterlacemode> <interlacemethod>1</interlacemethod>
Media info of recording that caused video problems:

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
Just wondering what the expected behavior of the hue integration is. I have a few hue lights w a hue entertainment area set. The lights will change colors when I start my media w mrmc but don’t seem to change much after that.
When I use the hue desktop app w my pc it scans my screen and the lights change constantly as well as the lights spatially sync w what’s on the screen (so a light on the left side of my room changes colors based on what’s on the left side of my desktop)

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
Testing the iOS build with my iPad Pro 10.5 and here's some issues
Ariana:
-There's no back arrow or anything like Opacity when going through settings or the libraries, so you have to swipe to navigate around and it's not very intuitive (especially since it feels to me like the swipes are opposite the way I would feel they should be). Something like Opacity for navigating back would be very much appreciated.
-Poster art is a little messed up. Here's two pictures to show you:

-I'm not really sure how to get to the area to set view options in the Movies and TV Shows libraries. I've gotten to it a few times, but I have no idea what I did. Opacity has a little arrow that will slide that out, but I couldn't really figure it out with Ariana.
-After tapping to pull up the OSD, you can't get it to go away a single tap. Swiping up will hide the plot information, but the rest of the OSD still stays there. The only way to get rid of it is to two-finger tap, which is just weird.

-There's no way to stop the video playback. See the OSD picture, there's no 'stop' button.
-No scrubbing available.
-On the main home screen when I have 'Continue Watching' and 'On Deck' showing, I can't swipe down to get to the 'On Deck' area. It keeps sliding back to the top.
Opacity:
-Confusing OSD when the video is playing. If I tap I get the information, and can't get it to go away, until I two-finger tap, which brings up the playback buttons where I can scrub and stop and etc, and then a single tap to get it to go away. On iOS I think a tap should bring up the playback controls, then swipe down for the information/subtitle/audio/settings, then a tap again puts the OSD away. Right now I have to single finger tap, two-finger tap, and then scrub to where I want.

Re: Testing MrMC 3.7.0
It works pretty well (as described in your second paragraph) but with the video toolbox codec only. AVF has to wait.

Can you explain a bit more - I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if I don’t have the right video setup to get the best effect
