I never did figure out how to install MrMC from the Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore but I managed to sideload MrMC Lite. It seems to be working as intended so I can now test the different features.
This issue of installing from "official" sources needs to be addressed if people are expected to get the paid version for the AMLogic boxes.
I"ll now start asking my questions in the support forum. I didn't see a special subforum for Android boxes so I'm assuming those questions go in the top level of the support forum.
