Hi, at frirst congratulation for your wonderful job.
I have a version of Kodi in a Raspberry Pi - OpenELEC and want to know if is possible to share the same library in MRMC apple tv.
Raspberry Pi - OpenELEC and aptv4 are in the same home network.
If is it possible, could you explain exactly how?
Thank you
Gpdl
1. No user installed addons are supported, python or otherwise.
2. No, they really are not supported.
3. They are not coming back
4. Read from 1. again

Re: Share library Openelec-Kodi and mrmc
Thank you for the answer.
But it isn't possibile to use the myvideo.db file of openelec for mrmc.
I want use the same library of openelec-kodi for mrmc. It's very hard configure 2 libraries for the same program...
I'd like to configure only the openelec library and use it also for mrmc.
Sorry if the question is too stupid (i'm not expert)... and sorry for my english...
Thanks

Re: Share library Openelec-Kodi and mrmc
Local database on openelec is SQLite and cannot be shared, if you setup MySQL using -> http://kodi.wiki/view/MySQL openelec will connect to it and populate. Once you are happy all is transferred you can use MrMC gui setting to attach it as second client

Re: Share library Openelec-Kodi and mrmc
I tried to follow the instructions , but MRMC library remain empty...
Can anyone explain to me exactly what to do ?
This is my problem : I use OpenELEC with Kodi 15.2 in a Raspberry Pi device.
I would use the same library of Kodi in MRMC in appletv 4.
I followed these instructions to install mysql in my mac osx El Capitan.
http://kodi.wiki/view/MySQL/Setting_up_ ... b=Mac_OS_X
I modified the file advancesetting.xml in kodi .
<advancedsettings>
<videodatabase>
<type>mysql</type>
<host>192.168.0.4</host>
<port>3306</port>
<user>kodi</user>
<pass>kodi</pass>
</videodatabase>
<videolibrary>
<importwatchedstate>true</importwatchedstate>
<importresumepoint>true</importresumepoint>
</videolibrary>
</advancedsettings>
I've configured mysql gui in mrmc
192.168.0.4
3306
kodi
kodi
myvideo
mymusic
I able mysql connection (it works) but the library of mrmc remain empty
What else should I do .
Thanks for your help...

Re: Share library Openelec-Kodi and mrmc
Remains empty? You need to create new library on kodi or on MrMC ... Then it will be populated on both

Re: Share library Openelec-Kodi and mrmc
There is a difference between MySQL (shared) and SQLite (local) database
1. Export current SQLite openelec database
2. setup MySQL server using the link I gave you
3. Setup openelec to use MySQL, like you did
4. Import database you exported earlier
5. Once all is good, attach MrMC using gui settings
