So with Kodi on other devices you have a right click, context menu, that allows you to turn off certain items during playback, such as subtitles, change audio etc, then setting them at default to all videos.
Anybody know what the context button is when using the touch remote and/or original remote.
Great work by the way.
Dave.

Re: How do you turn Subtitles off?
to launch a context menu on a selected item, hold the touch pad.
to turn off subtitle during playback, clicking the touch pad to bring up OSD. from OSD you can select the icon (forgot what it is called) on bottom right to bring up another menu to download, enable, change subtitle.

Thanks for the reply Normanfox, before your reply I downloaded Kodi Remote and went in that way. The touch remote and MrMC is going to take some getting used to.

Re: How do you turn Subtitles off?
Thank you for sharing; however, when I press the trackpad or middle button on the Apple Remotes, MrMC does not bring up the context menu for me. Any help would be appreciated. I am using an MrMC on an AppleTV 4.

Press and hold/long press would bring a context menu on the selected item... If video is playing, single select click will bring out OSD
