In TVSHOWS Files/episodes missing in series folders

I set up both Movies and TVShows under video. After the initial scan, Movies seem ok but under TVSHOWS, files for the series are missing. The folder is empty. The folders/series show but not the files/episodes in the folders.

Under VIDEOS, Files, TV Shows, the folders and files are present. I can play the files.

I have never used KODI and appreciate any help.

Are your files named correctly? TV show videos should follow a specific pattern such as: Show Title S01E01.mp4

I think so. I use the the file structure required by Plex. All of my TV shows are handled properly by Plex and iTunes.

When you set up the share, you also have to specify what to use to find the Metadata, so in the case of TV Shows you pick theTVdb.org or whatever it's called.

Hi,
I am facing a similar issue with TV SHOWS.
I can manually load a TV show from menu : Videos/Files/TV-Show, then selecting correct directory and the episode (but without no fanart and no episode or tv-show resume).
BUT, only one single TV SHOW appears in the MrMc central banner menu called TV-SHOW. All the other ones are missing.
I rebooted the Apple TV4, and tried all menu options from the TV SHOW parameters but no result.
Any idea what could cause this issue and how to solve it ?

you need to create library for TVshows and set the correct content, has that been done?

Yes, this is what I have done.
I set up both Movies and TV-Shows under video. After the initial scan, Movies are ok but under TV-SHOWS, files for the series are missing, only a single serie appears with its own episodes but all the other ones are missing.
I have also deleted the entire TV-SHOWS library and start again from entire beginning, I have same result.

TV-Shows names setup and episode names are correctly configured (I do not have this issue when using KODI on a Android TV box with same parameters).
May I suggest that I am using MrMc UI with french language and all fanart and Movies/TV-Shows are set-up to French language.
Please help.

not sure if french would be the issue, did you select "the folder contains single TVSHOW" by any chance? works for me, works for others so I suspect its on your end

I tried again with and without selecting "the folder contains single TVSHOW" and same or similar behavior : only a unique TV SHOW reported or 2 TV SHOW, the 1st one and all other TV SHOW mixed in a single serie. Very strange...
Would you be so kind to guide me step by step on how to configure the TV SHOW in order to check where issue is ?
What parameters should be validated or not validated...
