I'm not sure exactly how it works in Kodi, but when I first starting using Kodi for my MythTV viewing, there were several channels that I needed to adjust the settings for. The SD channels from my cable company seem to be delivered with black borders around the content. Using the Zoom function in Kodi, I was able to set these to 1.33, and all was well when I viewed those channels in the future.

At some point, I noticed that shows recorded on the channels that I had customized the display settings for started playing with those setting remembered. So, if I set FOOD network to a zoom of 1.33, it seems that shows recorded on FOOD network had that zoom level set when I starting watching the recorded show.

In MrMC, I've found that when I go back to a channel that I've already set to a zoom level of 1.33 (or disabled de-interlacing for those 1080i channels), it does remember that for that channel, so that's good.

However, MrMC doesn't appear to associate those settings to shows that record on that channel, like the behavior in Kodi. Am I missing something?

its kept my pvr stalker information what I input into it just fine. I do have an issue with the black boarders round the side of some channels and the aspect setting doesn't stretch it out to full picture. Other then that i've been watching my channels without issues.

Found my issue. In Settings, under Video / Playback there’s an option for “Display 4:3 videos as” and on Kodi, I had that set to Zoom. When I do that in MrMC, it behaves the way I expect.

So, it wasn't using the settings for recordings based on the channel after all.

Sorry, RTMP is not supported. 90 percent of RTMP usage is for pirate streams and that is just something we will not support. Wait for Kodi to catch up and sideload if you need RTMP.
