I have been having playback issues for about two weeks now. Whenever I play a video I have to force exit on MrMC to play anything more. Also when playing back a video when I pause the player exits to the file list and I have press play again to continue playing the video, but sometimes I have to do the force close thing after pausing.
After playing a video MrMC locks up and I have to press the home button then force close on MrMC. Sometimes the screen just goes black and I press the home button to exit.
Edit - this is on Apple TV 4K latest OS (not 15.6 yet)
