Using MrMc on Apple TV4k with a Plex library. The scrubbing when playing videos is laggy. It’s unresponsive for a few seconds then responds and scrubs wayyy too far.

I’ve tried on a few different videos and it behaves the same way.

Is this a known issue?

Where is your server located? Is it local or remote ? If it’s remote, how good is the internet ?

When you pause, we generate the thumbnail based on the position of the playback. If server is slow, if network is slow(Wi-Fi?), if internet is slow all that would make the scrubbing slow.

Debuglog might have some info, but in general it’s not a known issue.... we have not heard any complaints so far.

Plex server is on the local network. Apple TV is on a wired gigiabit & plex server is also wired so doubt its network issues.

Infuse & Plex apps scrub fine.

Is there a way I can view the debug log? I've uploaded it.

You can view it via webui, see the part of debuglog instructions for older versions.

We do need the log file name to be able to track it

I get the same thing when scrubbing. I don't know when it started doing it because it wasn't always that way. I just don't use the apple tv very much anymore now that I have the 2019 shield tv. I'm away from home right now or I'd put in a debug log.
