Emby connection broken today - both AppleTV and FireTV mrmc

Wondering if it's just me or whether everyone is having Emby problems today. MrMc app on both AppleTV and FireTV give "cannot connect to retrieve emby token" error .. but Emby app on both devices is running fine and I can log on to Emby server via my web browser and everything seems OK?! Was working fine yesterday but today its broken?! Any help or advice?

Let me guess... your Emby Server updated to 4.2.40 today, right ?
MrMC devs knew about those problems from May 7th about the MrMC Emby Client Service access problems to Emby Server 4.2.x branch, but decided NOT to bring out an interim STORE RELEASE with the fix in all those months they knew about it....

Thank you! That must be it! Never been a problem till today - I guess there's no workaround such as roll back Emby? Really frustrating.

Frustrating indeed....
Couldn't update my Emby Server for almost more than 2 months, due to that connection issue.

Ugh! Think I'm in the same boat! Thanks for responding - at least I know that it isn't something that I've done wrong.

No drama, we can add you in TestFlight for Apple TV so you have no down time

As much as I ( not talking for the whole team) appreciate your input in the whole project, it’s getting a bit tiresome to listen to you constantly complain about emby not connecting and how the team screwed you up with not releasing the fix as fast as you expected. We work on our own schedule that might not correlate to yours , and I would gladly adjust that schedule to not have to deal with many posts like the one quoted above but it’s not as simple as you might think.
We are aware of the issue, we are working on the release that contains the fix and you have had the access to TestFlight from day one.
So please, I will ask this nicely, if you don’t have anything constructive to add or assist the users that ask a question please do not keep repeating the same thing over and over.

I have seen the mail, I am travelling but @davilla will add you in soon.
Please let us know if that solves your issue with the connection.
