Hello,

Happy user here. MRMC is now at a point where it is very useful, with Atmos and all. Fab!
Not sure if this is platform specific, but I am on Apple 4k with latest version 3.8.1.

I have my own Kodi remote built (iRule) which also works great.
Apart from just the home menu command.
Is this command different on this platform for some reason?
Grateful for a hint? Many thanks.

This works on both Kodi 17 and 18 on mac and Win:

go to home menu:
jsonrpc?request={"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"Input.Home","id":1}

should be that same, debuglog when you send either.

Edited my OP as only the home menu is the issue (user error on the other).
Using the above command does not add anything to the debug log so nothing to send so far AFAIK...
Just checked that it works fine exactly as is on Kodi 17 and 18 Win and Mac.

If it helps, Debug log on Kodi 18.2 on a Mac gives this response when sending the home menu command:

Many thanks Frank. But all my commands work except Home menu for some reason
so that is not the issue.
And that same Home menu command works as expected on vanilla versions of Kodi on Mac, PC and Linux.
Ah well. No biggie. Will probably start working at some point..

I will have a look at “home” and why it doesn’t work...

any fix for this yet. I have the same problem.
