Atmos

I have been trying to play a certain atmos enabled aquaman mkv file with the new mrmc, but cant get atmos on my denon avr x1200 receiver.
Netflix, itunes and Prime work with atmos without problems. If anyone has tried the same file, can they confirm atmos works?

Is it EAC3+Atmos or TrueHD+Atmos? If it's the second you won't get Atmos.

unfortunately, most Atmos media is TrueHD; do you get Atmos from Nvidia Shield?

Yes I know trueHD doesnt work, this is an khm khm rip of popular "tunes" service, first in 4k HDR, and audio is said to be:

Also, FYI, atmos will only work with AppleTV4K.

And yes, I have apple tv 4k connected directly to my Denon receiver, and as I said, Netflix, Itunes, Amazon prime video ATMOS works...

Yup have the same file and the DD+ Atmos track is not working using Apple TV 4K with mrmc, works correctly using my Shield TV with Plex.

Yes, but this is the Apple TV support area so outside the scope of this thread.

I'll have to put on the hipboots and wade into ffmpeg to see why eac3/atmos is not getting detected for this one.
