MrMC

I was stuck on XBMC Eden forever. Why change if it was working. And I used the default skin. I think it was called "Confluence". Then went to Frodo.

In those skins, I almost always clicked Videos which gave me the pretty graffics but also gave me folder selection. Each folder showed up. Inside the folder the NFO files were read and the display was still pretty.

I had a folder I called "One off Stuff" and that is where I put things to watch and delete. It was not part of the "Library". It didn't have NFO files or anything else. What is the equivalent to that in MrMC where I can just drop a file and delete it without adding to the library.

I see I can go through Sources but my "One Off Stuff" folder is pretty deep going down through sources.

Add “One off Stuff” as a source, set content to none and mark it to show on home screen... you need to use opacity or Ariana skin for it to work and folder will be shown on home

I use the skin that came with MrMC. I looked and it says Opacity.

But I don't see how to add the folder to the home screen. Is it "Add To Favorites"?

No, it’s called “show folder on home”

OK - got it. Forgot how to add the folder.

It’s the same on all the skins, context menu(long hold select) over a source

Im using a External Drive (My Book) attached to the Nvidia Shield to pull source folders from, Still cant figure this out?
Cant see a "context menu(long hold select) over a source" option to “show folder on home” only see had to Favourites?
