Dolby vision

Hi every one, i'm french. I have a problème with dolby vision. Shield tv-onkyo TX rz-710- Sony oled af8.
I have try lot of things. Test file work on TV directly but not in Shield with mrmc and Kodi.. same with av receiver off. Someone have a same problème or fixe ?

Afaik, shield does not support DolbyVision.
The first Android device supporting it would be the recently announced new aftv stick.

Oh ok ! I have think that Shield support DV with Oreo update.. so we just wait right ?

Heh, no clue. It's not a matter of Android version, but rather whether the manufacturer provides a decoder, really...

Yes.. Apple TV have.. Amazon stick.. so NVIDIA must be more activ !!

No Apple TV doesn't support DV (dual layer) with external media files, only streaming app.

We wan't external media support !! ^^ NVIDIA is lazy..

As no mediaplayer in the market support dual layer DV external files, I don't if this is only Nvidia which is lazy
But as DV streaming is not supported, yes it's unfortunate
