Playing random Episodes

So I on my Tv which runs Kodi if I hold down the ok button it Brings up a menu and if I press play it plays a random episode even if it has been watched before. But on my iPad(MrMC) if I hold down on the selection and press play it starts at season 1 episode 1 every time and continues tell the end of the series which I find annoying so if you could make that a setting in the settings or just make it a default thing that happens that would be helpful. Thanks
