Hi guys

I have a problem.
If I have an movie where the scraper can't find it, I normally in Kodi can change the name that the scraper are search for, not the name on the harddrive, but I can't get it to work in MrMc?

Use long Press On the Remote.

It Will give you the pop-up menu

when I have a movie that the scraper can't find, I make a long press and choose movieinfo then comes a error to tell me that there is no info found, then I choose update, but then I get a error that there is no info found, in kodi there can I change the name on the movie to something so that the scraper can find something, I can only rename the fil now, but the is not always enough.

i've the same problem.

no chance to edit the movie for search...

i've some trouble with finding metadata and search manually

for example:
Searching for 'Born to Be Wild - Saumässig unterwegs (2007).m4v'

the app told me that nothing could be found
then i click 'OK' and click '#aktuallisieren'
then the app prompt immediately: nothing could be found - so there is possibility to edit the search-text

I have a solution for this that works for me. I posted the details in this other thread, fifth message down on the first page: http://forum.mrmc.tv/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=442

It's basically a way to manually force a movie or TV show to find the correct database entry. It works.

Correct. Place that link as the only line in a text file and name the text file identically to the movie file beside it in a folder.

So, if you have a folder named Wild Hogs, within it you'd have something like:

Wild Hogs.mkv
Wild Hogs.nfo

MrMC will scan that folder, find the .nfo file, get the correct link, and fill in the data (artwork, etc.)
