Smaller audio offset increments

I'm asking for the audio offset increments to change from 0.025 to 0.01 or even 0.005.
Is there any way, without a code change, to get smaller increments using a phone app or something?

10ms, you will never notice it. Think what is the video frame rate.

LOL, I decided not to say so but, yes, I even notice 0.005s.

my receiver has 1ms increments so I've tested.

how can you notice it

At 24fps, each frame is 41ms in duration. So someone say someone is talking. You only see their lips move/change every 41ms. So a/v sync less than 41ms will be showing the same frame despite moving the a/v sync point. Once can say, at that frame rate, a/v sync is quantized to 41ms.

Also, in general, sounds travels 1 meter in 2.92ms. So move 1m closer or further away and tell me you can tell the difference.

the audio is what's adjusted and what is its "frame rate"? the first file I checked with
mediainfo says the audio "frame rate" is 187.5, which is 0.005s.

but it's audio / video sync. That's syncing the audio you hear, to the video you see. If the video only changes every 41ms, it will 'look' the same.

the video may not change "often" but if sync is off it's off.

Well, I've made my request. I don't appreciate being told what I can and can't perceive and I don't understand why time is spent debating that point. Do you really think I'd come here requesting the change withing being frustrated already with the option given me?
I'd rather just get a yes or no answer and be done with it, as I feel like the time you've put into this project is far more than the price paid by customers. Yes, I'm totally fair to you and I respect your time and don't expect you to be at my beck and call. However, it occurs to me that the time you've spent debating me, looking up stuff on the web, could have been spent coding the change.
