I see that folks trying to implement changes in the MKV standard are working with the creator of MakeMKV for an agreed method for storing Dolby Vision data in a private layer, and could be accessible for playback on supported hardware and software..

So far i can play some DV titles on my external for a couple of minutes then it freezes. The only way to play the whole movie is by using Plex with the media on my PC.
