Plex client not loading/displaying library on firetv.

my firetv and apple tv are connecting by wifi AC to an Asus AC68 router. never had any problems.

ugh. I spoke too soon I guess. Suddenly our iPads are not getting the plex libraries properly. After the app is shut down fully Plex libraries won't show up at start. If I background MrMC then bring it back THEN plex libraries show up.

When plex libraries don't show up I go into the plex settings, tap on "plex home user....<my name>" and I get the warning "could not connect to retrieve home users"

fire tv and apple tv still work just fine.

CCurlFile::Open failed with code 401 for https://plex.tv/api/home/users

401 is auth fail but I don't see an indication of the redacted plex token. It should be there. Will poke some more.

any luck with this? I guess the problem I'm seeing on our iPads is different from the problem topic of this thread. apologies for that.

(their problem as I understand it is the library shows up but it's empty. my problem is TV shows nor movies doesn't show up at all until backgrounding and refocusing)

Still looking into it, I can't reproduce on any of my iOS devices and davilla is on a road trip

Client: AFTV 2, Ethernet connection (two switches between server and client), mrmc lastest version uupdated yesterday, works fine with native plex client and Kodiplexconnect. tried pin and username and password sign in.

Server:Win 7 pc, latest version of server software, library called movie and tv shows (a few others as well ) ethernet connection.

Tell me what logs you need and I will post them.

We will push a new version in a next day or so with some fixes and more debug logging, should reveal more if it's not fixed

If you are running on appletv4 and using 2.6.3 from testflight, mrmc.log please. We added more logging to plex client.
