I wonder if a change could be made such that when you're on the home screen and viewing recently added (for example) and you swipe quickly back to the left so that you're back on the main menu that it doesn't from that swipe go a step further to the left to reveal the submenu for whatever section I'm on. Make sense?

Yea, this behavior also annoys me What we desire is this: In RA, quick swipes left or right will never go past 1st or last item. Then any type of swipe can "jump" from there to next left or right group and stop there. Another swipe and then into next group and so on. The slide out (in opacity) is a group (the slide out) within a group (the movies, tvshows, etc. items) so the code right now just sees the main group and that means also the side out part. Work-in-progress

When viewing the whole movie section a fast swipe is beautiful when it works. However, more often than not for me it only registers as one step not a fast swipe. And I'm pretty agile with this remote. Seems that fast swipe up registers correctly more often. Fast swipe down is more of a problem. Need a log for this?

How are you viewing the movie section, text list or covers ? We can check, but at this point, we have no control over how tvOS focus engine interprets how many to go up. It might be triggering an out of view jump. But yes, debuglog might help. There's a lot going on so a time ref might help narrow down to the right section of logging.

Is it normal that TVOS sounds are mixed with MrMC gui sounds, when set to MrMC gui sounds ?

Still deciding on what to do about this. Ideally, it should be one or the other, not both. We can certainly detect if gui sounds are enabled and disable tvOS nav sounds. Then allow tvOS nav sounds if gui sounds are off. Default would be changed so that gui sounds are off, then new users are not confused by the swishing sounds

re fast/long swipe not registering, I tried it in both list and "wall" and it seemed the same. I'll try to get you a log.

This for the fast swipe down not always working. I copied only part of the log around the time of my testing. I had quite a few failed fast swipes down in there.
