Hello?
Hi?

EDIT: your server doesn't have the Primary image for the video item....

Code: Select all

17:12:06.758 T:6096941056   ERROR: CCurlFile::Open failed with code 404 for https://HOSTNAME:443/Items/3385228/Images/Primary|&X-MediaBrowser-Token=EMBYTOKEN
17:12:06.758 T:6096941056 ERROR: Open - failed to open source <https://HOSTNAME:443/Items/3385228/Images/Primary|&X-MediaBrowser-Token=EMBYTOKEN>
These items have a Primary image in Emby though. How can I verify the Primary image so MrMC can see them, please?

not too familiar with Emby to be honest, but quick google search got me this -> https://emby.media/community/index.php? ... ges/page-1

its possible that Emby webui and/or other clients fallback to a different image... I cant reproduce here, I have all the images showing correctly on my setup.

It looks like the season doesn't have a Primary Image but the series does. MrMC should fall back to the series poster rather than the season primary image it's looking for.

As i ve mentioned before, files that no nfo can be found can not be played.

Tried to playback file AAAAA.mp4 .... no nfo found, file does not start..
Then played file ..... chapter8-.....mkv which is in the same folder but nfo can be found, file plays normally..

If i rename the file AAAAA.mp4 to a name that can be "recognized"(so nfo can be found) it plays normally

This is no problem with NFS permissions, since they are on the same folder and those files can be played normally either when renaming or if played back from other devices.
is this only amber skin related? does it happen if you use other skins?

I see that NFO file cant be found but I do not see the failed playback anywhere...

EDIT: I can see whats happening, your default "select" action is info.. so it tries to load info for a video file.

settings -> Videos -> File Items - > and select Play or Choose

EDIT1: I'll push a fix for it for the next release
thank you :)

Is it me or is in progress not quite behaving as it should ?

Examples
- Finished “in progress” episodes only disappear from “in progress” after I entered tvshows and return home.

- And today a movie “in progress” only appeared “in progress” after I entered movies and return home. The progress bar was visible on the poster in “recently added movies”.

Is this traceable with debuglogging ? Has someone noticed this ?

There is a setting to hide watched recently added items

Yes I know you kind can hide watched status. That setting is in use.

But my question is about the in progress not acting as it should. At had a movie in progress
, but after I stopped the movie It did not turn up in “in progress”. The progress bar was only visible on the movie poster. Only after I entered movies and returned to the home screen, the movie appeared in the “in progress” section.
