@davilla, thanks for the new build.
Quick check of channels from TV/PVR mode with an HDHomerun Quatro and all seems to be OK, mixture of SD (576i50) MPEG2 and HD (1080i50) H264 transmission here (Sydney, Australia). Like the UK we are all interlaced 25 fps on our Free-to-Air channels.

Just tried live TV and not seeing any problems. Ted377 & stephenh, thanks both.

Only other issue I'm seeing is fanart view with Ariana and TV shows (Plex Core). At show level there is no fanart background, the background only shows at drill down to season level. Think this crept in during 3.8.1 at some point but I didn't notice at the time.

Back home now. Can anybody point me to test files for testing of hev1 and dvhe playback?

I downloaded 3 test files, all mp4 with dvhe video streams. All trigger dolby vision for me.

Emby client:
The issue is persistent with the latest Server version.
Movies Lib. does not connect/load from the Windows Server but loads correctly from the Synology server.
TV Shows Lib. connects/loads correctly from both servers, Windows and Synology.

And the debuglog please?

In Amber - Settings - Background - Edit Background for Media Type.
Using Siri Remote, when it reaches Disc it does not change.

EDIT:
- meanwhile, the Emby Server version is 4.2.0.22 which is also the version used for this debug log.
- this failing experience, causes the EmbyServer.exe process to "hang" while loading the CPU to almost 100%
